Design Guideline
Welcome to the design guidelines for building applications with the Stingray Music API. These guidelines are intended to ensure that your application provides a consistent and high-quality user experience that aligns with Stingray Music's brand identity.
General Layout
The general layout of your application should be clean and organized. Here are some key points to consider:
- Navigation: Navigation should be intuitive and easily accessible. Use a clear hierarchy in menus and provide a search function to allow users to quickly find content.
- Content Area: The main content area should be focused on music discovery and playback. Ensure that album art, track listings, and controls are prominently displayed and easy to interact with.
- Responsive Design: The application should be responsive, providing an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices, from desktops to mobile phones and tablets.
Templating
To maintain consistency and up-to-date content across different application, consider using the API templating system. The templating system is used to dictate the elements to display on the main page of the application and is refreshed by Stingray.
Branding Requirements
Stingray Music's brand identity should be evident in your application. Adhere to the following branding requirements:
- Logo Usage: The Stingray Music logo should be visible on all main screens and should adhere to the spacing and sizing guidelines provided in the brand assets.
- Color Scheme: Use the Stingray Music color palette for all UI elements. The primary colors should dominate the design, with secondary colors used for accents and highlights.
